Denis has worked in the construction industry his entire adult life. He was born and raised in Canada and first learned the trade in his native country. Because Canada is a very cold region, he learned some of the best techniques for insulating and protecting homes against the elements. He has brought many of those practices to his work in Connecticut and often had to convince local officials of their benefits. Today, many of these practices are suggested as "building green" techniques for framing & insulating homes for minimum heat loss.
Denis first started as a framing contractor and was known to be one of the best framers around. A house well framed makes every project easier for all the trades that follow. Denis has a true love for his work and it's apparent when anyone comes to see him on the job.
Diane was born into the trade. Her entire family has worked and continues to work in the trade. She started out as an office assistant in a law firm, went back to school to become a software engineer, directed a team of engineers to develop and support an online educational reference system for schools and libraries. Her experience as a leader and project executive is carried into her responsibilities as project executive for the work she does with her family.
Steve, like Diane grew up in the construction business. He often would spend time with his father in the summer and during school vacations. Steve's expertise in the finish details. You'll see him working on interior finishes and managing the final details of every project. He installs cabinetry, interior trims and oversees the work of the painters and other trade contractors involved with the last steps of every project.
